Chris is a sessional instructor with universities across Canada, translating real-world HR leadership into applied learning. Her teaching includes Public Sector Human Resources in Dalhousie University’s Master of Public Administration program, Total Rewards at Kwantlen Polytechnic University’s Melville School of Business, and Talent Management in the MBA program at University Canada West.

Chris brings years of experience leading distributed teams and supporting large national organizations, including accountability for more than 6,500 members. Her commitment to process improvement has been recognized by Accreditation Canada with a Leading Practice award. She is known for her authentic leadership style and her ability to foster strong, collaborative teams. Chris holds a Master of Science in Human Resource Management and the CPHR and SHRM-SCP designations.

Chris has extensive experience in planning and directing key areas within Volunteer Administration and Human Resources. She is skilled in the entire volunteer management cycle, talent management, employee relations, performance management, and the development of policies and procedures. Additionally, she excels at creating and implementing HR strategies, programs, and initiatives.
